Scripture: Psalm 1

Psalm 1:1–2 NIV
1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
Psalm 1:3–4 NIV
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. 4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Psalm 1:5–6 NIV
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Bearing fruits

Psalm 1:3 NIV
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
Goe calls us to bear fruits like trees, but how do we do that as human and what are the fruits we bear?

Types of fruits

Galatians 5:22–23 NASB95
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
These are the fruits that God wants us to bear. Each one has a season and can bear fruit every day/.
Those who are sinners can not bear good fruits.
Psalm 1:4 NASB95
4 The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
What is it that makes the difference?

Staying connected

John 15:5–6 NIV
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

Conclusion: Without Christ you will not bear fruit, but be cast away and burned in Hell fire.
